This commitment was fostered through the former COHiTEC program, now known as HiTech, reflecting our continuous dedication to assisting researchers in unlocking the inherent value of their scientific breakthroughs.

• BioReboot (HiTech 2022): won the Novo Verde Packaging Enterprise Award worth €25,000 and the Crédito Agrícola Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award in the category " Valorisation of Endogenous Resources" with €5,000. Know more here and here.

• Bactometer (HiTech 2021): honoured in the European EIT Health InnoStars Grand Final 2023; a final featuring several start-ups with innovative projects in the field of health technologies before a panel of renowned international judges. Know more here.

• TargTex (HiTech 2018): was awarded with a total of up to € 14 Million funding from the European Innovation Council through Horizon Europe's EIC Accelerator program,to support the clinical development of the lead asset TTX101 in a phase 1/2a clinical trial in recurrent hashtag#glioblastoma patients. • Sea4Us (COHiTEC 2013): secured funding from the European Innovation Council through Horizon Europe's EIC Accelerator program, worth approximately 6 million euros.The approved financing will allow the Sea4US team to work on the development and execution of the first clinical trials. • SmartPhotonics (HiTech 2022): won the eAwards Portugal organized by NTT Data Portuga, securing a €10,000 prize. Moreover, their exceptional achievement granted them the opportunity to represent Portugal in the Global competition. Know more here.
