Last May 17, the 12 projects participating in HiTech Program gathered at NOVA School of Business and Economics, in Lisbon, for the Midterm Session. With semi-public nature, this session takes place, as the name indicates, in the middle of the program length and intends to serve as a proxy for the Closing Session, which will occur on July 3 (Registrations here).

During the session, the 12 teams, from Lisbon and Porto editions, made a four-minute presentation in order to describe their projects, paying particular attention to the subjects that have already been covered in this first phase of the program: problem and need description, presentation of the technology developed by researchers, of the product generated by the technology, the market in which the product will fit and the existing competition.

After de presentation, the teams answered questions and had feedback from a juri panel composed by David Malta, from Vesalius Biocapital, Frazão Guerreiro from ISQ and Rita Sousa from Naves.
