Empowering Southern European Deep Tech Startups with Mentoring and Training – Applications Close on 11 October 2024

After two successful editions, S3E Charge, part of the European S3E project led by HiSeedTech, is launching its third and final Fast-Track Acceleration program—a 4-week express edition designed to accelerate Southern European deep tech startups.

This new edition of S3E Charge offers expert support to deep tech startups, with a focus on mentoring and training for science-based entrepreneurs in Southern Europe. The goal of this program is to help the selected startups develop an investment-ready business plan and gain access to both dilutive and non-dilutive funding.

Here’s an overview of how this track will work:

Who can apply:

• Startups with deep tech products or services already in the market
• Startups from Southern European countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia and Spain.
• Associate countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo and Turkey.
• This track will accept a maximum of 30 start-ups.

What does the program offer:

• Training and mentoring to develop an investment-ready business plan.
• Dedicated support to access public and private funding opportunities.

Here are some important dates to keep in mind:
23 September 2024 → the open call to apply for S3E Charge is officially launched.
11 October 2024 → applications for S3E Charge will close at 17:00 CET.
15 October 2024 → the startups selected to participate in S3E Charge will be announced and the program will officially begin.

The S3E Charge Fast-Track Acceleration will run for 4 weeks, from 15 October to 8 November 2024. Selected startups must commit to participating throughout the entire program.

How to apply:

• Download the Application Guidelines to check all the details about the program and the full eligibility criteria, including the list of countries that can apply.
• Complete the application form on F6S and hit submit — don’t leave it until last minute!
• The S3E consortium will review all applications between 11-14 October and will notify you via email if you’ve been selected.
