In 2025, HiTech introduces two tailored tracks, allowing participants to select the path that best suits their needs:

What HiTech 2025 Offers

During the 19-week program, HiTech provides a variety of valuable resources, including:

• Online sessions: Covering key topics to guide research teams in developing a business case for a product, service, or process grounded in their scientific discoveries.
  
• Webinars: Expert-led sessions covering essential topics like technology commercialization, intellectual property, pitching, and funding opportunities.
  
• Mentorship from Business experts: Ongoing support from industry experts, helping teams validate their projects and refine their commercialization strategies.
  
• Pitching Opportunities: Present your project to industry leaders, potential investors, partners and stakeholders, gaining valuable feedback and building critical connections.
  
  

Who Can Apply?

HiTech 2025 is open to research teams from Portuguese universities, laboratories, and startups. Teams should consist of 2-5 members and be working on a deep tech innovation with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 2 or higher.
